Sousse and Mounastir deliver us an authentic witness. They kept many admirable monuments, especially their ribats (strong and religious building) of the eighth century.

Also, Tunisia has known ancient sites, two of which "Carthage" and "Dougga", were classified as World Heritage by UNESCO.

 

In addition, Dar Othman (16th century), is the oldest palace in the medina of Tunis, and certainly the most beautiful and worth a visit.
